Abstract

Batik is identical with Indonesian creative works originating from various regions with different patterns as their respective characteristics. Batik is also a heritage that deserves to be preserved hereditary or used as fashion needs. The distribution of diverse patterns in various regions in Indonesia is not accompanied by various ways of promotion and marketing innovation as an effort to improve the people's economy, this depends on the efforts and empowerment programs of each local government. Kampoeng Batik Jetis Sidoarjo is one of the batik villages in Indonesia that has existed since 1675 and there is still very little assistance from government agencies. So that the University of Dr. Soetomo Surabaya took the initiative to establish a partnership with the Sidoarjo Batik Jetis Association in terms of solving promotion and marketing problems to be more well-known and visited by tourists. The website www.kampoengbatiksidoarjo.com is the result of the design of the two partners as a media to promote Jetis Sidoarjo's batik work as well as to market it online. The sustainability innovation of this partnership program is by creating Kampung Batik Eduwisata Batik which later prospective tourists can register for batik classes through the website.
