Abstract

This research aims to analyze the difficulty of learning English in the students of the Faculty of Economics, Department of Accounting, August 17, 1945, Banyuwangi. This single case study (study case) involved 40 accounting students of the Faculty of Economics UNTAG 1945 Banyuwangi. The steps of this research use the CIPP model (Context, Inputs, Process, Product). The results of this study indicate that six students fall into the category of Low Motivated with Low Achievement, ten students fall into the category of Well Motivated with Low Achievement, ten students fall into the Stabilized Progress with Stable Achievement category and the remaining 14 students fall into the category Progressive Experience with Significant Achievement. Based on the findings of his analysis of the difficulty of learning English the students of the Banyuwangi UNTAG 1945 Accounting study program are varied and lack understanding of the basic concepts of learning English from an early age.
